Okay - back to December....
Kim and Abe are two of my favorite people on earth. Abe and I grew up near each other near the Oklahoma/Arkansas border, and he's a major reason why I ended up at Georgetown. Kim and Abe met in DC, got married, and have two smart and funny little girls.
Kim is from San Diego, and they made a trip just before Christmas to spend some time on the west coast with her family. I made the drive south to have lunch and hang out with them for a few hours one day. It was a lovely time. I've missed them!
These girls crack me up.
Love them.
She played that duet way better than I did.
On my way home, I stopped by Disneyland. It was a tad cold, so we aimed for some indoor adventures that I didn't know existed, like the animation academy. Have I mentioned that I can't draw? Like, at all? Yikes!
Somehow I manged to draw something that mostly resembled the character. I'll have to try that again!

I don't really know Kim and Abe; I think we only overlapped in the DC ward for a short time. BUT I totally saw them at Disneyland! I did one of those awkward stares where you're trying to figure out why you recognize them before they're gone. Pretty sure they noticed and wondered why Disneyland would let such a creeper in.
