My life feels like it's been on hold forever.
I found out in July 2017 that I would lose my job sometime, and that's been dragging out over this year. I'm one of the last people standing after many have left in planned waves I've postponed thinking about buying a house or traveling or starting a family or Anthony starting a new job or school or anything, because I just don't know what's next. I've skipped buying concert tickets or Sundance Festival tickets because I don't know where I'll be or if I'll have time to do those things in 3 months from now.
But finally, finally - there is movement. My job finally has an end date - only a few weeks left. I booked a trip. I've applied for jobs and am getting some traction. I'm no longer beholden to this commitment that's been dragging on (and I've done it for a great severance package, so there is reason). I'm ready for movement. It's coming.
And maybe someday I'll blog about our amazing roadtrip last month to Glacier National Park. Until then, here's a beautiful photo of one of our hikes.
